Corporate Bugging for InformationAudio bugs are either powered via battery or through mains electricity. Although an audio bug itself can be extremely small, it is common practice for it to be encased into any every day object to avoid suspicion i.e. a pen, calculator even in a jiffy envelope. These bugs are ideal for short term deployment as its battery life is reduced for constant monitoring. Video bugs normally have audio facility combined, but take longer to deploy due to camera position. The additional power consumption of the video creates power issues, so these are normally encased in a larger object, for example a smoke detector or more commonly in mains powered devices, say an alarm clock. Bugs are transmitters and therefore require equipment to receive the information. These can be automatic recording devices placed in a self contained unit or in a parked car up to two hundred meters away from the bug. We suggested that our team of specialists monitor the transmission as it not only provides expert witness, but we can immediately act upon information gathered. Our infantry contains certain bugs that we are able to monitor from anywhere in the world by simply calling into the unit. These are audio only bugs. All evidence obtained can be used in a court of law, with the proviso that the movements could be observed in a public place. |
